Networking


Purpose of this Working Group:

The purpose of the Networking Work Group is to discuss, design, and coordinate the constructing of an interconnected Statewide Packet Radio Network.

Objectives of this Working Group:

The primary objectives of the Networking Work Group is to examine and discuss various networking techniques, deploy and test those techniques, determine usefullness and the feasability of deployment of such networks. The group will also provide resource material and training for persons interested in a wide range of Packet networking solutions. And to be instrumental in the eventual deployment, and maintenance of, a well connected Statewide Packet Radio network that can be used in day-to-day Amateur activities, while being available to carry traffic for Served Agencies in times of emergency.
